Indian Market: Sensex jumps 660.68 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday rallied 660.69 pts to close at 48,544.06 following gains in Auto, Bankex, Finance and Realty stocks amid strong global peers.

The Nifty too moved up by 194 pts to 14,504.80.

The Sensex registered days high and low at 48,627.43 and 47,775.42 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 14,528.90 and 14,274.90 pts respectively.
