Indian Market: Sensex falls over 100 pts

The BSE Sensex on Friday fell 105.30 pts at 72,305.08 in opening session on profit booking by local operators.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) eased 37 pts at 21,737.

The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 72,417.01 and 72,173.82 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded intra days high and low at 21,770.30 and 21,703.90 pts respectively.

The Mid Cap moved up 0.23 pc and Small Cap by 0.33 pc.

In 30 scrips, 13 advanced while 17 declined.

The losers were Kotak Bank by 0.93 pc to Rs 1902.95, Titan by 0.71 pc to Rs 3690, Infosys by 0.67 pc to Rs 1542.45 and Reliance Industries by 0.64 pc to Rs 2589.05.

The gainers were Tata Motors by 2.03 pc to Rs 769.50, Maruti Suzuki by 0.82 pc to Rs 10357.80, Sun Pharma by 0.68 pc to Rs 1270.60 and Bajaj Finserv by 0.54 pc to Rs 1689.15.
