Indian market: Sensex down 768.87 points
Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Friday dropped 768.87 points to close at 54,333.81 on weak global cues.
The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) too slipped 252.70 points at 16,245.35.
The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 55,013.27 and 53,887.72 respectively.
The Nifty recorded the day's high and low at 16,456 and 16,133.80 respectively.
