Indian market: Sensex down 2002.27 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The Benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange on Monday crashed by 2,002.27

pts to close at 31,715.35, tracking weak global cues after the latest flare up in US-China tensions.

Even, extension of the nation-wide lockdown also weighed on investor sentiment.

The Nifty of national stock exchange too fell by 566.40 pts to 9,293.50.

The sensex registered days high and low at 32,748.14 and 31,632.02 respectively.

The Nifty registered days high and low at 9,533.50 and 9,266.95 respectively.
