Idea launches new 'Roll Over 3G' feature
Mumbai, June 11 (IBNS): Fostering data adoption by providing innovative offerings and services to its customers, Idea Cellular, has launched the first-of-its-kind '3G Roll Over' feature for its postpaid subscribers, in India.
This revolutionary new 3G roll over data pack will allow Idea postpaid subscribers to carry forward their unused 3G data balance to next month without any extra charges.
This is the first time in India that any operator is allowing carry forward benefit on 3G data packs for the postpaid category, which is the highest data consuming category in the country.
Idea’s Roll Over 3G Data pack will enable its postpaid subscribers to get full value for money, by accessing uninterrupted 3G internet from previous month’s data balance by carrying it forward into the next billing cycle.
Speaking on the initiative, Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular said, “Idea’s new ‘Roll Over 3G ’ feature is based on the insight that customers feel anguished when their data pack expires at the end of the billing cycle, without full utilisation. With our new Roll Over 3G data pack, postpaid subscribers will now not lose out on unused data balances at the end of their billing cycle. We believe, this customer centric approach will enhance customer satisfaction and boost data usage amongst our subscribers.”
The roll over benefit is applicable on all Idea postpaid 3G limited data packs offering minimum of 1GB data, on a pan-India level (excluding Orissa).
