Bharti Airtel to close Wynk Music app; to absorb all employees
Mumbai: Telecom company Bharti Airtel will leave the music segment and close its Wynk Music app, media reports said.
Following the closure, all Wynk Music employees will be absorbed by the company.
"Airtel is planning to close Wynk Music in the next couple of months. It will absorb all the employees into the company," news agency PTI quoted a spokesperson as saying.
When contacted, an Airtel spokesperson confirmed the development.
The company has signed an agreement with Apple to offer special deals on Apple Music to its customers who use iPhones.
