Bajaj Auto sales moves down by 3 pc in Dec

Mumbai/UNI: Bajaj Auto has reported a 3 per cent decline in its total sales for December last year as only 3,62,470 units were sold compared to 3,72,532 units in December 2020.

However, domestic sales in December grew by 5 per cent to 1,45,979 units as against 1,39,606 units sold in December 2020, company said in a filing with BSE.

Total two-wheeler sales declined 6 per cent to 3,18,769 units in December 2021 as compared to 3,38,584 units in the same month a year ago. Both domestic and exports sales witnessed one per cent and 9 per cent drop, respectively, it said.

Total December 2021 commercial vehicles sales, including exports, rose 29 per cent to 43,701 as compared to 33,948 vehicle sold in December 2020, the filing added.
