Bajaj Auto July 2020 total vehicle sales moves down by 32.89 pc to 2,56,041 units

Mumbai/UNI: Auto major, Bajaj Auto reported a decline of 32.89 per cent in its total sale at 2,56,041 as compared to 3,81,530 units sold in July 2109.

Company's total two-wheeler sale for July 2020 registered a decline of 26 per cent to 2,38,576 units compared to 3,22,210 units in July 2019.

In domestic market company sold 1,52,474 units of 2 wheeler in July 2020 down by 11 per cent compared with 1,70,978 units sold in July 2019.

Exports of two-wheeler for the month of July 2020 dipped by 43 percent to 86,082 units compared with 1,51,232 units sold in July 2019.

The commercial business saw a drop of 81.15 per cent in domestic market at 6,502 units in July 2020 as compared 34,492 units sold in July 2019.

The exports for commercial business decline by 56.67 per cent to 10,774 units in July 2020 as compared with 24,828 units sold in July 2019.

In total, Bajaj Auto sold a total of 17,276 commercial vehicles in July 2020 as compared to 59320 units in July 2019, down by 70.87 percent.
