Ambuja Cement's 'Van Campaign' to travel across 13 districts of WB

Kolkata, Apr 17 (IBNS): Following the success of its Mason Awareness campaign launched in North India last year, Ambuja Cement has launched the second phase of the campaign this month in West Bengal and other regions PAN-India.

The fleet of vans has set out from Kolkata and will visit 13 districts of the state, reaching out to 7,200 masons.

This mason awareness campaign in Kolkata is part of a larger national campaign where 51 vans will be visiting 11 states, reaching out to over 60,000 masons. Through these campaigns, construction experts will conduct a series of mason awareness workshops aimed at training Masons about high level productivity.

These unique campaigns will assist in awareness-building through interactive sessions. It will serve as an interactive platform for masons to clear their doubts and gain significant expertise about various masonry techniques.

The campaign will be overseen by Himesh Chandra, Regional Head – Kolkata RSO, by Deepak Kumar Nagpal, National Head - Brand Activation, and Bhavesh C Trivedi, CSG Head - East.

Speaking on the occasion, Abhijit Ghosh, Marketing Head - East, Ambuja Cement said, “Our mason awareness program in West Bengal aims at educating over 7,200 masons on various techniques to improve productivity and overall efficiency. The comprehensive training sessions will also help them in learning cost optimization techniques, besides methods to achieve superior construction quality.”

The campaign has already been flagged off in the West Regions covering major cities across Maharashtra and Gujarat. It is also being implemented throughout North and Central Region in, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, where thousands of masons will be assisted in enhancing their masonry skills.

Ambuja’s Mason Awareness campaign was launched in North India last year. It comprised of 1000 mason meets, in 67 districts of Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu, covering around 30,000 masons. The campaign provided masons with awareness on the latest construction techniques. The second phase launched this year will train masons with techniques and best practices towards work efficiency.
