India registers 34,457 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered 34,457 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday.

Active cases account for 1.12 percent of total cases which is the lowest since March 2020.

India's active caseload stands at 3,61,340.

Recovery Rate has now increased to 97.54  percent.

36,347 recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 375 people died due to the virus in the past 24 hours.

The total death toll due to the deadly virus now stands at 433964.
