Truck operators begin two-day strike on Monday
They are protesting against hike in diesel prices, Goods and Services Tax, and corruption and harassment faced by the truckers on roads, media reported.
According to media reports, truckers said diesel must be brought under GST to ensure “uniformity of fuel pricing across the country”.
AIMTC represents around 93 lakh truckers and around 50 lakhs bus and tourist operators across India, media reported.
