TCS, Porsche join forces in major AI move to transform mobility
Indian IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a strategic partnership with Porsche AG to enable artificial intelligence (AI) services across the German luxury carmaker’s mobility value chain.
The partnership is backed by a five-year strategic deal between TCS and Porsche.
As part of the agreement, TCS will establish a dedicated AI Mobility Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Porsche to drive innovation across manufacturing, engineering, operations and customer experience.
TCS, through its subsidiary, will also acquire 100% of MHP Management- und IT-Beratung GmbH (MHP), Porsche’s Germany-based management and IT consulting subsidiary. The proposed transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals.
MHP brings extensive automotive and industrial consulting and implementation expertise, with strengths in business transformation, AI, SAP, manufacturing digitalisation and connected mobility. Its track record in delivering complex automotive and industrial transformation programmes is expected to complement TCS’ global scale and engineering capabilities.

The collaboration will be structured around three key pillars:
TCS to scale AI execution and drive outcomes for Porsche
TCS will establish a dedicated AI Mobility Centre of Excellence focused on industrialising AI use cases across key mobility technologies.
The CoE will convert AI concepts into secure and scalable solutions aimed at improving operational speed, resilience and competitiveness across Porsche’s products and value chain.
TCS and Porsche will work together to embed AI across intelligent manufacturing and operations, engineering and customer experience. The partnership will combine Porsche’s automotive engineering and brand expertise with TCS’ capabilities in AI, product engineering, technology and business transformation.
TCS and Porsche to create a platform for long-term value creation
TCS’ technology and transformation expertise will provide a foundation for scaling AI-led transformation and delivering business outcomes across Porsche’s organisation and wider mobility ecosystem.
The five-year strategic business agreement between the two companies is expected to provide a long-term framework for delivering these outcomes.
TCS to acquire MHP
Through its subsidiary, TCS will acquire MHP, which has established expertise in automotive consulting and AI transformation.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen TCS’ presence in Germany and expand its capabilities among European automotive and industrial customers.
