Monsoon: Twitter launches blue umbrella emoji for Indian users

New York, June 16 (IBNS): Micro-blogging site Twitter has launched a new emoji for users-a blue umbrella.

The special blue umbrella emoji has been crated for Indian users of the social media platform.

The emoji went live on Friday.

The emoji has been created by keeping in mind the monsoon season.

Twitter India posted: "We are excited to launch our #Monsoon emoji, to keep you dry during the wettest season in India . Tweet with #बारिश or the hashtags below!"

Monsoon rains have started in many parts of India.

After summer, people across the country were waiting patiently for the Monsoon to arrive and give some relief.

And an umbrella is very much a party of Indian culture during the monsoon.

The emoji surely promises to add to the beauty of the monsoon on social media this season.
