Maruti Suzuki registers net profit of Rs 24,843 million in Q2

New Delhi, Oct 27 (IBNS): Automobile major Maruti Suzuki on Friday said it has registered Rs 24,843 million in the second quarter that ended on Sept 30.

The Company said it has sold a total of 492,118 vehicles during the Quarter, a growth of 17.6 per cent over the same period of the previous year.


"Sales in the domestic market stood at 457,401 units, a growth of 19.4 per cent. Exports were at 34,717 units," Maruti Suzuku said in a statement.

During the Quarter, the Company registered Net Sales of Rs. 214,381 million, up 21.8 per cent over the same period previous year.
