Kolkata, Jan 9 (IBNS): Kotak Mahindra General Insurance Company Limited (Kotak General Insurance) recently inked a Corporate Agency agreement with Repco Home Finance Limited (Repco) to deliver General Insurance products to Repco customers.

Under this agreement, Repco will represent Kotak General Insurance as its corporate agent and will offer the Company’s comprehensive suite of General and Health Insurance products to Repco’s pan-India network of 144 branches.

Mahesh Balasubramanian, MD & CEO, Kotak General Insurance, said, “We believe Repco’s strong network coupled with our ability to offer superior solutions will lead to a worthwhile proposition for all stakeholders. India is one of the countries with the lowest General Insurance penetration. Arrangements like these are essential to encourage prospective customers to sign up for insurance products and improve the narrative around insurance in our country.”

K. Prabhu, Compliance Officer & Company Secretary, Repco Home Finance Ltd., said, “We at Repco have always believed in expanding our offerings to cater to our ever-increasing customer needs. The synergies that will be generated out of this association will not only offer an enhanced value proposition to the customers of Repco; but most importantly will empower them to mitigate their risks and secure the future of their assets as well as loved ones.”

Gaurang Shah, Director, Kotak General Insurance was also present during the agreement signing event. Kotak General Insurance will offer its entire suite of products including health, motor and home insurance through Repco.
