IndiGo Airlines to launch Raipur-Allahabad flight from June 22
Raipur 10 April (UNI) Aviation Company IndiGo Airlines will introduce regular flight from Raipur to Allahabad from 22nd June onward, the Raipur Airport Director Rakesh Sahai said on Wednesday.
Giving this information Sahai said that the scheduled flight will take off at 1005 hrs from Allahabad and land Raipur at 1200 hrs. The same flight will take off at 1220 hrs from Raipur and reach Allahabad at 1350 hrs.
IndiGo has announced to start booking for this. The company has specified Rs 1999 as fare. With the launch of this flight service, Raipur will be air-linked with Uttar Pradesh.
The company had launched flight service from Lucknow to Raipur last year but scrapped this service in the next few months considering limited passengers.
The company hopes to get a sufficient number of passengers on this route as Allahabad is an important tourist destination which is only a few hours away from Varanasi, Lucknow and Kanpur by rail or road. The time table of this flight has been set keeping in mind the convenience of passengers from Varanasi, Lucknow and Kanpur.
