Indian Railways to partner with TCS for hiring 1 lakh candidates

New Delhi, Aug 1 (IBNS): The Indian Railways is all set to partner with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for its massive 1 lakh hiring drive through online examinations.

According to reports, the hiring drive is set to commence on Aug 9.

The Indian Railways is also hiring two more private companies for taking care of the back end operations.

The railways will be conducting phase wise online exams for 62,907 Level-1 and 26,502 Level-2 vacancies.

It has received 1.9 crore and 47.5 lakh applications for the vacancies.

Each candidate will be provided with a unique question paper with the same difficulty to be managed by the ‘Question Creation Wizard’.

This entire process which will be managed by TCS, who won the contact through bidding.
