Indian Market: Sensex up 533.15 points

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday surged 533.15 points to close at 61,150.04 following gains in telecom, utilities, power and realty stocks.

The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 156.60 points at 18,212.35.

The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 61,218.19 and 60,850.93 respectively.

The Nifty recorded the day's high and low at 18,227.95 and 18,128.80 respectively.
