Indian Market: Sensex regains 497 pts
Mumbai: UNI: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday bounced back 497 pts to close at 56,319.91 on the strength of Metal, Materials, Consumer Durable and Telecom stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 156.65 pts at 16,770.85.
The Sensex registered day's high and low at 56,900.74 and 56,047.22 respectively.
The Nifty recorded day's high and low at 16,936.40 and 16,688.26 pts respectively.
