Indian market: Sensex jumps by 403.65 pts

Mumbai, Feb 20 (UNI): The BSE Sensex on Wednesday surged by 403.65 points at 35,756.26, snapping nine day negative trend as fresh buying was seen in Materials, Energy, IT and Metal stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too advanced by 131.10 points at 10,735.45.

The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 35,797.11 and 35,469.49 points respectively.

The Nifty registered day's high and low at 10,752.70 and 10,646.40 points, respectively.
