Indian Market: Sensex down by 286.35 pts

Mumbai, Aug 7 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday tumbled down by 286.35 points to settle at 36,690.50 as selling was seen in most of the Indices even rate cut in RBI’s policy failed to lift the investor’s sentiment.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too fell by 92.75 points to 10,855.50.


The Sensex registered day high and low at 37,104.79 and 36,610.57 respectively.


The Nifty registered day high and low at 10,975.65 and 10,835.90 points, respectively.
