GST revenue: High growth in Haryana continues for fifth month

Chandigarh, Dec 3 (UNI) The trend of high growth in the State GST revenue of Haryana continued for the fifth month in a row in the current financial year, registering growth rate of 33.5 per cent in November, 2019 over the corresponding month of the previous financial year.

Stating this here on Tuesday, an Excise and Taxation department spokesman said the overall growth of state in the last five months of the current financial year in State GST is 31.15 per cent over the corresponding five months of the previous financial year.

He said the state has also recorded a high jump in collections under all the Acts of GST in November, 2019.

The overall collection under all Acts of GST from the State stood at Rs 5904.56 crore in November, 2019, against collection of Rs 4678.53 crore in November, 2018, recording a growth of 26.2 per cent.

The growth rate of 26.2 per cent of the state under all Acts of GST is against a national growth rate of 5.9 per cent in November, 2019.

The return compliance of the state of return filing month was 78.13 per cent up to November 30, 2019, against the national percentage of 74.17 per cent, he added.
