Yogi Adityanath unveils statue of Ram in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, June 7 (IBNS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath on Friday visited Ayodhya and unveiled a seven-foot statue of Hindu god  Lord Ram  at the Shodh Sansthan museum in the city.
 

According to reports, the statue is made form rosewood.

It was reportedly purchased from Karnataka from Rs. 35 lakh.

The statue depicts one of the avatars of the Hindu God known as 'Kodamb Ram'.

The museum has around 2,500 artefacts related to related to Ram and his life but didn’t have one depicting Kodamb Ram, reported Times Now.
