New Delhi, Sept 18 (IBNS): Advocating stronger Indo-China ties, Chinese Presedent Xi Jinping on Thursday said that if India & China speak in one voice, the whole world will notice.

Delivering the Joint statement after holding bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chinese premier said, China & India will act as twin engines in spearheading economic growth in the region.

Refering to Modi’s scheduled visit in 2016 to the ‘land of the dragons’, Xi said, “ 2015 to be 'Visit India' year in China and 2016 to be 'Visit China' year in India.”

He invited Modi to Beijing by saying, both countries are important forces in an increasingly multi-polar world.

On the border dispute which has marred the relations between the two nuclear-capable neighbours, Chinese President reiterated the statements of Modi by saying, that there are certain problems in the border areas that needed to be resolved.

He said, “China-India border issue is an issue left over from history.”He admitted, “Some incidents because border yet to be demarcated.”

He assured his Indian counterpart that “China is determined to work with India to settle boundary question at an early date.”

On the cultural front, Xi assured that China will participate in Goa International Film Festival and Delhi Book Fair.
