Woman arrested, stolen gold recovered in Anantnag

Anantnag/UNI: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a woman and recovered stolen gold in this south Kashmir district, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

He said on September 14, a written complaint was received by Police Post (PP) Sherbagh from a person, resident of Dialgam, that some gold items had been stolen by some unknown person at Mattan Chowk, Anantnag.

He said a case FIR Number 302/2020 Under Section 380 was registered at PP Shearbagh.

Police Anantnag swiftly swung into action upon this information and initiated thorough investigation into the matter.

He said the gold items worth lakhs of rupees was recovered a woman.
