West Bengal: Bodies of 3 members of same family recovered from Thakurpukur house

Thakurpukur/UNI: Police on Tuesday recovered bodies of three people from a house in Satyanarayan Palli area of Thakurpukur in WestBengal's South 24 Parganas district.

The deceased were identified as Govinda Karmakar (80), Runu Karmakar (70) and Debashish Karmakar(45).

According to police and local sources, father, mother and son were all physically ill and their income was not so much.

Govinda was suffering from mental depression.

The door to the house was closed on Tuesday morning.

After not opening the door for a long time, the locals informed the Thakurpukur police station and the police came and recovered the bodies of 3 people from inside the house.

Police recovered one suicide note in the incident.

The bodies were sent to Vidyasagar Hospital for autopsy.

The police have started investigation into the incident.
