We will not get any response from India until Narendra Modi is in power: Shahid Afridi

| @indiablooms | Feb 25, 2020, at 03:54 pm

Islamabad/IBNS: Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi said it is the 'negativity' in Indian PM Narendra Modi's mindset which will prevent the relationship between the two neighbouring nations from improving.

“I think we will not get a response from India until Modi is in power. We have all understood his mindset now. His mindset can only take you towards negativity. That one man can ruin the relationship of the two countries which the people on both sides are against,”  Afridi told Cricket Pakistan.

Apart from playing in ICC events and Asia Cup, India and Pakistan have not played any bilateral series against each other for years.

Pakistan last visited India for a bilateral series in 2013.

India last travelled to Pakistan in 2006.

Relationship between the two countries touched new lows last year since the Pulwama terror attack incident which left 40 Indian security personnel killed.
