Uttar Pradesh: Youth accused of raping cousin held
Rai Bareli/UNI: A youth, who allegedly raped his minor, cousin sister was arrested by the police in the Mill area here on Friday.
Police sources here said that Awadhesh, who had allegedly raped his 12-year-old cousin in the Mill area of the district has been arrested.
The houses of the victim and the accused are situated opposite each other.
After the medical report of the victim confirmed rape, police registered a case and arrested the accused under sections of rape and the POCSO Act. He has been sent to jail today.
