Lucknow/UNI: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP), the two opposition political outfits in Uttar Pradesh, on Friday opposed the new farmers' bill.

Taking to Twitter, BSP president Mayawati wrote, "Parliament passed two farmers-related bill's without clarifying the doubts over the farmers' concern."

"BSP never supports such bills. The government should know what the farmers want and they should focus on it," she tweeted.

Meanwhile, SP President Akhilesh Yadav also tweeted, "When Jawan and now farmers are against the government, now you should know that the days of the government are numbered."

On Thursday, the Centre passed two farmers bills in the Lok Sabha even after one of its partners Akali Dal, opposed it.

It has resulted in the resignation of Union Minister and member of BJP's ally Akali Dal, Harsimrat Kaur Badal.
