Uttar Pradesh: Bodies of couple recovered

Sonebhadra, Jun 28 (UNI) The bodies of a couple were recovered under mysterious circumstances in the Babhni area of this district in Uttar Pradesh on Friday.

According to sources, Bihari (23), resident of Salenag, was in love with Devanti (20), daughter of Rampakurar resident Ramshubhag and they were reportedly set to get married.

Bihari had gone to Devanti's home to visit her on Thursday evening and after having dinner, everyone went to sleep.

The victim's mother said that Devanti was found lying dead on a cot this morning while the youth was not present in the house.

Upon searching for Bihari, his body was found 200 metres away from the house, hanging from a tree.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is underway.
