UP police SI killed in road mishap on Agra-Lucknow expressway

Ferozabad/UNI: A sub Inspector of Uttar Pradesh police was killed on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway on late Wednesday night.

Police said here on Thursday that the accident happened near Datwali village under Matsena police station in the district when his car jumped the divider and hit another vehicle on the adjoining lane on the expressway.

The SI, identified as Vijay Singh (45), was driving his car and was alone in his vehicle and was going towards Farrukhabad from Agra where he was posted.

The SI died on the spot, police said.
