UP: Blast, firing in court kill 2

Faridabad, July 9 (IBNS) At least two people were killed and several others were injured in a blast, which was followed by firing, inside a Faizabad court in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, the police said.

According to reports, the target of the attack was former legislator from Sultanpur Sonu Singh and his brother Monu Singh.

Attackers first exploded the bomb and then opened fire on bystanders, reports said.

The brothers had appeared in the court in connection with a case.

Three live bombs were later recovered from the court premises, reports said.
