UP: Akhilesh Yadav sacks 36 SP leaders
Lucknow, May 20 (IBNS) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav has sacked 36 state leaders with ministerial rank holding them responsible for the Lok Sabha poll debacle.
Out of the 80 Lok Sabha seats, SP managed to win only five seats in the 2014 General Elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 73 seats. The Congress won only two seats.
