Union minister threatens to ‘slit throats’ of corrupt officials

Patna, Jan 28 (TheBiharPost): Union minister of state for power RK Singh has threatened to kill officials found involved in corruption, local media reported on Sunday.

Singh, who represents Ara seat (Bihar) in Lok Sabha, made these declarations while addressing a meeting in his constituency on Saturday.

“If anyone indulges in any kind of irregularity will slit his throat, file case against them and throw him into jail,” Singh is heard saying in a video which has gone viral on the social media.

The minister also asked officials to maintain highest level of transparency in allotting works through tendering system and take up only those schemes which benefit all.
