Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat tests positive for Covid-19

New Delhi/UNI: Union Minister for Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has tested positive for Novel Coronavirus.

In a tweet on Thursday, the minister said, "After some signs of illness, I underwent a corona test and my report came positive. I am getting hospitalized on the advice of doctors. I request that those who have come in contact with me in the past few days isolate themselves and get themselves tested. May all of you remain healthy and take care of yourself."

Shekhawat is the fourth Minister in the Union Cabinet to test positive for Covid.

Earlier, Home Minister Amit Shah, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal had tested positive for the contagion.
