Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviews security situation along Indo-Bangladesh border in Assam

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday reviewed the security situation along Indo-Bangladesh border in Mankachar sector in Assam.

Shah arrived at the border sector by chopper and paid his obeisance at the Kamakhya temple in the border area.

A flag march was carried out in the border area in presence of the Home Minister. After visiting the border areas, he had a discussion with senior officials of the Border Security Force.

The Home Minister was welcomed by the locals staying in the border areas.

Later in the day, Shah is slated to inaugurate a state of the art hospital in Guwahati.
