Two NDFB (S) militants nabbed in Assam
Guwahati, Sept 18 (IBNS) : Security forces apprehended two militants of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Songbijit faction) with arms from Goreswar area in Baksa district on Thursday, police said.
Following a tip-off, the troops of the 12 Mahar Regiment had nabbed the militants from the area, where they were hidden.
Army personnel recovered a 7.65 pistol, a magazine, some live cartridges and a mobile in possession of them.
The militants were identified as Bwishad Basumatary and Billat Narzary and later handed over to the police.
