Two arrested in murder case in Nashik

Nashik/UNI: Two people have been arrested for murdering two others, police said on Friday.

There was a clash between Shinde and Dhadiwal family on a minor issue at Ambikanagar area of the city on Tuesday, in which Dhadiwal group members attacked the Shinde family with sharp weapons at Pimpalgaon Baswant in Niphad taluka of the district.

The victims were hospitalised and died on Thursday.

They were identified as Pundalik Gangaram Shinde (67) and his son Manik Pundalik Shinde (40).

A case was registered and two suspects namely, Vicky Dattatraya Dhadiwal (27) and Ajay Prakash Dhadiwal (19) have been arrested, police added.

A situation was tense, and the state reserve police (SRP) personnel have been deployed in the area.
