TN polls : Ghulam Nabi Azad meets Karunanidhi on Cong-DMK seat sharing
Though Azad claimed to reporters that his meeting related only to chalking out poll strategy, Karunanidhi's son M K Stalin did not deny it.
He, however, said : "We can not divulge to you right now how many seats we have offered to the Congress."
Congress is said to have demanded at least" 40 seats given that the DMK doesn't have any major parties in its alliance.
On Thursday, former Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram held meetings with senior TNCC leaders K.V. Thangkabalu, M. Krishnaswamy and Su. Thirunavukkarasar at his residence.
Chidambaram has reportedly stayed out of the committee that the party formed to negotiate with the DMK and identify constituencies.
