Hingoli/UNI: Tension prevailed here in this district of Maharashtra as 50 new cases of novel coronavirus were reported from different places of the district on Saturday night.

With the freshly emerged cases, the tally has now shot up to 151 while 89 people have been so far cured and discharged.

The district has currently 62 active COVID cases.

The newly infected patients are basically returnees from Mumbai and other cities.

Health Department sources said that this has posed a new challenge for them to provide health care services to the freshly reported cases.

Notably, several Jawans were tested positive after their return from Malegaon and Nashik last month.
