Telecom major BSNL offers a week-long Free voice Calls and data in flood affected Districts of Karnataka

Bengaluru, Aug 10 (UNI) BSNL will be offering free voice calls and data in flood affected parts of Karnataka including Chickmangaluru, Dakshin Kannada, Belgavi, Yadgir, Bagalkot and Dharwad Districts.

BSNL has decided to offer free unlimited voice calls from BSNL mobile to BSNL network, 20 minutes free calls from BSNL mobile to other operator numbers, 100 free SMSs, and 1GB free data every day. This facility is valid for 7 days from now. For any further clarification, customers may call to BSNL call center on 1503/ 18001801503.

BSNL, Karnataka Circle Chief General Manager (Telecom) Sushil Kumar Mishra said said BSNL is committed to serve its customers in best possible way, and is striving hard to maintain the services in these worst flood affected parts of the districts. Most of the Taluks,

mobile services are working except where mobile tower/ exchange is submerged in water or where Optical fiber cable is damaged due to floods/ landslide. For such places, restoration works are underway on war footing. BSNL is also taking help of local administration to provide uninterrupted mobile services.
