Tejashwi Yadav's drive in Jeep Wrangler with Rahul Gandhi headlines Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Bihar

Patna/IBNS: Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Friday joined Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which has entered its last leg in the state of Bihar.

Tejashwi joined Rahul in Sasaram just ahead of the yatra's entry into Uttar Pradesh.

In an X post and several trending videos, Tejashwi was seen taking Rahul in a red Jeep Wrangler with the RJD leader driving it.

Rahul was seated beside Tejashwi, who is also set to participate in a rally of the Congress MP.

This is the first time the two leaders came together after their government ceased to exist after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar dumped them to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Nitish, who was one of the architects of the opposition bloc INDIA, dumped the RJD-Congress alliance and returned to the NDA in another political somersault.

Meanwhile, Rahul's yatra will cover over 6,000 kilometers across 15 states from Manipur to Maharashtra.
