Tamil Nadu Governor calls on PM Modi
New Delhi, July 1 (IBNS): Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday.
The meeting was a courtesy call.
"The Governor of Tamil Nadu, Shri K. Rosaiah, called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today. It was a courtesy call," the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said in a statement.
Earlier, Rosaiah was appointed to discharge the functions of Governor of Karnataka.
"Shri K. Rosaiah, Governor of Tamil Nadu, to discharge the functions of the Governor of Karnataka, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Karnataka are made vice Shri H.R. Bhardwaj, who completes his tenure on 28.06.2014," a communique said on June 27.
