Syed Sallahuddin's son secured medical seat on merit: Hizbul
Srinagar, July 3 (IBNS): Banned militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen has refuted allegations and claims made by former RAW chief Amar Singh Dulat that UJC chief Syed Sallahuddin contacted Indian Intelligence Bureau to get his son admitted in medical college.
In a emailed statement to local news agency in Srinagar, outfit spokesperson Salim Hashmi said that Dulat’s revelations are based on lies.
“Sallahuddin’s son secured medical seat on merit basis. Sallahuddin is not in touch with any government or private agency and neither he is linked with any intelligence setup," the spokesperson said.
He further said that, “This is a white lie and the accusations have been made to create doubts among people with regard to ongoing freedom movement.”
During an exclusive interview to India Today TV, Dulat had revealed that Farooq Abdullah once facilitated the admission of Syed Sallahudin son's in a college.
"Sallahudin rang the IB head in Srinagar for the favour and Farooq Abdullah actually facilitated the admission. However, this was an exceptional case for an exceptional man," Dulat had said.
