SpiceJet pilot robbed in Delhi

New Delhi/UNI:  A SpiceJet pilot was robbed at gun point and injured with a knife after his vehicle was intercepted at the IIT fly-over by some unknown bike-borne miscreants.

The incident took place on Wednesday night as informed by the Pilot, and accordingly an FIR has been registered at the Kishangarh Police Station on his complaint.

He was on his way to the IGI airport from Faridabad when the incident took place, when ten men on five bikes forcibly stopped the car, broke open the window and looted the man at gun point.

One of the goons injured the pilot with a knife.

As per the information given by the pilot , he was robbed off Rs 10,000 in cash.

Following this incident some other people were also reportedly looted on the same route. However, the police has only received a single complaint, they claim.
Meanwhile, police is going through CCTV footages of the adjacent areas in view of collecting evidences.

Further probe is underway, the police said.
