Soumitra Chattopadhyay's condition critical

Kolkata/UNI: The health condition of legendary Bengali actor Soumitra Chattopadhyay, undergoing treatment at a private hospital for Covid-19 positive, was stated to be critical.

According to hospital sources on Sunday, octogenarian Chatterjee was again given plasma therapy today.

He was given plasma therapy on Saturday, too.

Chatterjee was shifted to ITU on Friday night and was in an "acute confusional" stage.

The iconic actor was admitted to hospital on October 06.
