Sonia Gandhi visits Rae Bareli

| | Jun 14, 2014, at 04:50 am
Rae Bareli, June 13 (IBNS): Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi on Friday visited her constituency Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradsh for the first time since her party posted a poor result in the recently held Lok Sabha polls.
Addressing her party workers, she said she will 'lead' the party from the front and will not stop until the party  'regains its glory'.

The Congress performed poorly in the recently held the Lok Sabha polls as the party, which ruled the nation for the past 10 years, could win only  44 seats in the Lok Sabha polls.

Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India last month following the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s landslide victory in the polls.
