Sikkim observes 7-day long state mourning in honour of Pranab Mukherjee

Gangtok/UNI: Sikkim Government has declared seven days mourning till Sept 6 in honour of former President Pranab Mukherjee.

The mourning is being observed throughout the State following to the demise of the former President.

The National Flag is flown half-mast during the mourning. No official entertainment is being hosted, said Chief Secretary SC Gupta.

Chief Minister P S Tamang has condoled the passing away of former President who passed away in the Army Referral Hospital, Delhi on Monday.
