Osmanabad, Apr 17 (UNI) A case was booked against Shiv Sena candidate here on Tuesday in connection to a maliciously edited video clip aimed at defaming the party MP Ravindra Gaikwad.

The police informed, "In a complaint, Gaikwad has alleged that the video shared by Om Raje Nimbalkar is fake."

The video showing the Shiv Sena MP abusing Nimbalkar and other leaders of the districts has gone viral over social media.

However, Nimbalkar in his defence stated that he had already filed a complaint regarding the doctored video on in Doki Police Station on April 4. "It is a conspiracy against me," he added.

It may noted that difference between both of the leaders came after Gaikwad was denied lok sabha ticket by Shiv Sena and nominated to Nimbalkar as official nominee.
