SC rejects plea; Subrata Roy to stay in jail
New Delhi, May 6 (IBNS) The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected a writ petition filed by jailed Sahara Group Subrata Roy challenging his detention.
With this, Roy will have to stay in jail for the time being.
Last week, Roy's lawyers filed the writ petition said his client is unwell as he is suffering from the summer heat.
Roy is in jail since Mar 4 after his company failed to repay the money which it owes to its investors.
